from my experience in renting apartments from landlords kind of depends on where your place is located. right now I live in a college community and they do semester deals. when I was in vernal UT it was an oilfield community and they usually did 6 months to a year with a high deposit.

i am trying to say it is not worth to go with Section 8 if your rental unit csn be rented ut easily.  

RichI also like certain areas in Utah and will be visiting there next tuesday on a possible buying trip.

They are based in Lindon, Utah I believe.

I do own 2 rental condos (in Provo Utah), a small commercial office, and residential single family rental.  

I've been very happy with the one in Texas and am now actually negotiating on to other subdivisions here in southern Utah.
