When I get this off the ground, I hope to fully immerse myself in this business.

Hi All,I'm just starting to immerse myself into the real estate investing world.

I immersed myself in learning every equipment, how they work, price points, what was "un/cool", all the celebs in the industry, all the local top dogs, ect.I later became interested in tuner cars and street racing when I was 17.  

For a few months I have immersed myself in podcasts, blogs, and books, soaking up all the information I can.

My goal was to get completely immersed in all aspects of a property so as to get a “hands-on” education with very little risk.

Is being successful in commercial real estate require being immersed in it full-time?

While you’re saving up for a down payment (if that’s why you’re waiting), spend as much time as you can learning about all the ins and outs of REI, networking with other people in the industry and immerse yourself in the field.

Although being paid to fly around the country to help people in different markets sounds appealing, I've always advised others to buy local help, and believe mentees will generally have a better experience w/ someone who's immersed in their market and available to meet face to face regularly.
