Hello everyone. I'm currently in San Luis Obispo county, originally from Las Vegas, NV. I'm in my mid-20's and am ready to learn more about investing. I have my architecture degree from Cal Poly and have worked in a firm for the last year. I was recently let go and I realize that I want to create multiple streams of income for myself rather than relying on an employer. I have always been interested in house flipping, as it would create the perfect combo between my architecture education and my desire for financial growth. I have also been debating about getting my real estate license, but haven't done so yet. Until now, my focus has been work and getting my architecture license.

I've joined this community in hopes of learning everything I can before I step out on my own with my first investment. I know that the market is pretty expensive where I live and I will probably be looking to invest outside of my area. Any advice, suggestions, etc. are welcome. In the mean time, hello everyone!
