The outside compressor needs to be cleaned out and wash the element, once every six months or so to keep it running efficiently.

The compressor to the AC unit for my SFH broke down and needs to be replaced.

A bit tight but I've been relatively conservative on the numbers, it has a brand new roof, well system, and AC compressor was replaced 5 yrs ago so capex should be fairly low. 

Then you have high-priced items, like a water heater or an AC compressor.

I used an old solenoid valve from a junk humidifier to turn on the water when the A/C compressor started. 

I live in Seminole Heights and just down the street they put in a new Central AC between the two houses and the people sleeping next to it did not hear the guys who cut the lines and stole the Compressor.

I am going to add window sensors in one home where we sometimes have an issue of freezing the AC compressor because they run the AC while the windows are open upstairs.

You might just need to upsize the evaporator and the compressor an extra half ton...Good luck.
