Take this with a grain of salt because I'm relatively new as well, perhaps others will share their experiences.

Also, if you are on Credit Karma you will notice that they suggest cards for you to apply for and estimate your chance of success.Just be aware that those Credit Karma scores should be taken with a grain of salt (  or a groan of exasperation). 

These are averages, so take that with a grain of salt.

I live in Salt Lake City and purchased myself a new townhome to live in personally (Dec 2021). 

So I'd take that piece with a grain of salt.

Got an email yesterday that said:     "New Members Near Salt Lake City       There's a total of 16 new members on BiggerPockets who are within 100 miles of you."

I am just getting started with REI and am looking to begin in the Salt Lake area.

This might be common in Houston since you guys have salt water so close and I'm sure its humid there.

Not that it helps, but I will let it be known to all of my colleagues, friends and family to stay far far away from Hometown Plumbing.Final salt in the wound - we agreed to meet him at the permitting office with a certified check at 1 pm and he was an hour and a half late without calling.  

I did a few flips and owned a rental property back in 06-07 before the market crash up in Salt Lake City, UT but haven't done anything since and can't wait to get back into it!
