Use concrete counters in the kitchen, they are cheap to make, look good when stained and last a long time.The backyard would get a heavy duty picknick table with a cheap umbrella, some wood beach chairs and a gas BBQ.

I inherited my father's condo in CT and am fortunate that the President of the Board of Directors genuinely cares about the complex and has kept up the maintenance as necessary.

Last time I was over to fix a ceiling fan I think they were up to a TV, couch, living room chair, a couple night stands, an armoire, and a couple chairs and a folding table in the dining area after eight months. 

For us, the law school had a facebook page, and after I went and met the housing director for the law school, she was happy to advertise our vacancies on their facebook page. 

That would be the only occupancy limitation for residences for any group protected under the ADA, other than special needs categories (wheel chair access, etc.).The whole point of this is to protect the disabled (in this case prior addicts / alcoholics) from being pushed out of a community through unfair ordinances, simply because the community doesn't want them there.

I developed a relationship with the housing director for the law school at the university next to our building.

The director finally told me to send his boss an email.
