My husband and I currently own a lovely home in What's considered the worst part of the City here in DC, "south east Washington, and were told that no one would ever what to utilize our space as a vacation home.

But if you're looking for high cash flow properties, the midwest and southeast are the best.

I moved to the Nashville area (Brentwood) last June from Southeast Missouri and fell in love with Tennessee.

More specifically, my short-term goals are to find my first investment property, somewhere in the Southeast or Midwest, and get my feet wet!

We were looking to move to the south east.

We considered a condo on the water in Southeast Florida as an investment.

Our preferred areas is NW Boise - North of State Street, but as we've found very little there in our price range we've expanded our search to include the bench, southeast, south boise & even a bit of Meridian.

But I am going to work on that buyer list right away, I am nicely located in Southeast Missouri but Right by the Arkansas and Tennessee borders so I should be able to cover all three areas quite well.
