Any advice on finding a pet friendly place that doesn't run screaming from a $1k monthly income?  

The first time they parked in a visitor parking lot for a week, they HOA place the sticker in their car advising of the violation, they actually moved the car to their parking space.

I asked as many questions as I could but my gut kept screaming.. they said they were interested in helping us out and the deal... but again.. the gut...

What I love about Mammoth vs other ski resorts is its proximity to Yosemite National Park that provides us with a steady stream of visitors all summer and fall.

Even if it's not a "tourist" area you'll have visitors.

They have screaming/cussing fights with each other that everyone else can hear. 

Mall gets 3 million visitors annually and has been open only 3 years.

(Cleaning up after yourself, taking turns cleaning bathroom, limited amount of visitors at a time, etc) Note; It's a 2 bed 1 bath

But with business they make it seem like one can never recover or go into another type of business .School and media definitely plays a role too .If you turn on the tv there are 1000 talking heads screaming at you to buy XYZ stock but none advocating to invest in property.There are the "flipping shows" but of course they are filled with drama .I guess a tv show about somebody that owns rental property would be pretty boring though ... except for BiggerPockets users .

More often than not, tenants don't want to leave because they are getting a screaming deal.
