@Ann Keller Hoh For a little while, before I got my license, I had access through a broker I was working for at the time.

The downside with this place is that you can only refer deals and not actually broker any yourself.That said, I'm sure there are plenty of brokers that are flat fee or low cost that would happily take you on.I'd suggest you take a look at Keller Williams so that you can go through their new agent training program.

I have been reading about real estate for many years and I'm currently reading "The Millionaire Real Estate Investor" by Gary Keller. 

On the other hand, some moderate school districts where the ARV's are slightly lower, but rents remain strong are Garland, HEB, Keller, North Richland Hills, SW Arlington & some of the smaller communities north of Dallas.

I spent several years working with a Keller Williams agent in California, who am still associated with in both California and Indiana (where she is also licensed).  

I am a broker with Keller Williams based on the north shore.
