Sometimes a timeout is required to get yourself back in fighting shape in order to go forward, just like in sports.

My white german shepard ignores the little one and is pretty laid back, but he let's me know when it's time let him out, feed him, go for a walk or play.

I have some really good German chef's knives in my kitchen I found years ago during a cleanout.

For whatever it's worth (and I'm assuming next to nothing for many of those who have commented here), my undergraduate degree is in philosophy from the University of California, and my minors were French and German.
