If you know of anyone that would like to to general handyman work from time to time as well for about $15-20/hour (non contractor work like painting, clean up etc..)

Both of these leaders did this to convince their followers to toe the line, not to convince themselves.Survivorship bias is, as Wikipedia describes it, "The logical error of concentrating on the people or things that made it past some selection process and overlooking those that did not."

We also have a beautiful golf course property just listed on VRBO and trying to come up with some marketing avenues to to affluent golfers and large family retreats in the USVI.Thinking Facebook page is the next step and look into golf magazines or send direct flyers out somehow.  

It's important to note that most of the strategies I just described require actually going to to the property and seeing it with your own eyes.

My advice to to my younger self do more, buy more.

You can also find some more economical multifamily properties in the area where you are now and you will have the added benefit of being able to to be very hands on if necessary.
