My application was approved (a credit check and presumably other background checks were run, which turned out OK).Since I pay my rent on time and don't cause any trouble, I'm not worried the landlord will jack up my rent in the future (unless everyone's rent gets jacked up by a similar amount).

It also looks like it may have gone to a sherriff's sale in 2013 and got bought by Fannie Mae, who then sold it in 2015 to someone, who is presumably the current seller.Until I knew different, I would assume:- you need to replace the roof (shingles), and possibly the wood under the shingles too.

(as in the triplex example) and studio for presumably less, paying $535 for a "room" in a house suggests to me that either there is a severe housing shortage in your area, those "rents" are inflated (because of frequent vacancies/evictions, etc) or you will have some very challenging tenants to deal with here.
