I would look locally within about 1hr drive of where you are now.I don't think long distance to Rio Grande Valley is your answer, unless for some reason you have some intimate knowledge of the area, grew up there or have some kind of unique insite, like you're the hiring manager for a hospital or transplant director or social working helping patients and families who have long term stays.

"; "Access to our foreclosure/buyers/sellers/etc list . . ." that's such a secret that the government can't identify the names on that list--neither can those sellers (because the list doesn't exist); and I'll save the best one for last.My favorite gimmick of all--as an Ohioan transplanted to the East Coast--is when the marketers flash to that "ordinary" person from Ohio (or somewhere else in the Midwest), and then flash to that person surrounded by models, palm trees, and other cheesy, tropical scenery (that you know were either green-screened or PhotoShopped into that scene) with the steel drums blaring in the background.

I think the continued population decline will eventually catch up to the state and balance out the ridiculous regulation keeping supply artificially low.Being a real estate agent in Nashville, I have helped a lot of California transplants move here.

If you're lucky, it may just need a capacitor or fan motor replacement (sub-$1,000 repair, potentially far less).To put things into a rough analogy (I'm not in the medical field either, so apologies if this is nonsensical from your viewpoint): Before getting a heart transplant, I'd at least make an effort to unclog the arteries beforehand.
