As a landlord, why do you care if your tenants would pay in USD or Bitcoin?!

Someone had broken in and stolen all the copper out of the AC units on the roof, evidence of animal life was everywhere, cats mostly.

Insurance is about 100 a month, copper pipes (which I've heard it's a problem considering they can be stolen) I will try to appeal the taxes but I know Illinois taxes are particularly high. 

The well pump was stolen and am curious as to where I can get the specifics on the well that is there so that I can get the right pump.

I had a property out in a semi decent area outside DC for a while and the A/C condenser was stolen 2 times, I mention that because there can be large unexpected costs in these areas especially if they are known to be high crime!

If something is stolen and the seller tries to go after you, it would be pretty easy to argue that the guy gave you the keys without knowing you so he probably did that with other people too.  

It would have saved us about $2k in stolen tools as well as time lost dealing with cops and replacement tools.Buy the system once and reuse it- that is a no-brainer.  

We have given USAA everything they've asked for including all paperwork, police reports, contractor's estimates and other supporting documentation (e.g. ownership of stolen appliances).

I have three criteria for when I look to invest in any business - 1) I want to make a lot of money, 2) I don't want to spend a lot of time doing that and 3) I like businesses that are very simple - something I can easily explain to my wife and parents (and that's exactly why I lost money investing in Bitcoins!!

Without going in to too much detail, we now have confirmation that there was illegal activity taking place in the form of theft and harboring of stolen goods.
