This isn't hardcore evidence to start freaking out about and this is all speculative but still interesting none the less.

Mid city, westlake, east hollywood, south central,... these places do not improve because of the prevalence of rent control and section 8, but also because of the general incompetence of the city's administrationI'm not saying south central isn't a good investment, but it is imo highly speculative and very high maintenance, as the area is filled with bad tenants and dramas

I am speculating here that a school district rating is influenced by two things (and I dont know if this is true or accurate): the quality of the students and the quality of the teachers and admin team.

One can only speculate...

Beware, there are a lot of people investing in speculation right now as well.

That is a tough one, because you are essentially speculating on land. 

@Shane Gaboury I would personally stay away from any condo investment because the economies of scale (only 1 - 3 doors), the special assessments that you have no control over and this is a speculation play.

I am biased by North Cal markets obviously.Anything involving appreciating is speculation, for starters.

They must have had a reason for requesting conventional financing, I can only speculate so far but those are my best guesses.
