Slow Boring Investment Idea? Wise or Dumb?

Hey Everyone,

I am 26 years old and own my own three bedroom condo and househacking one bedroom. My next goal is to put 25-30% down on a 200kish condo in order for it to cash flow as I live in an area with high ticket prices. I know this is a slow longer play, but I am conservative and can save a lot of my income month to month. This way I could save again for 1-2 years and do it again. What are your thoughts on this strategy?

John,

Thanks so much for the advice, I'd love to invest in a multifamily. Two things slowing me down is finding any for sale in my area, and then affording a 20-25% downpayment on one in my area. I will look more into it though! I appreciate your advice!
