(pink shingles--L0L) I just found it on the internet...Who paints shingles (???) 

In Indianapolis, with clients I've helped close homes on... they HAVE gotten in trouble and "pink slipped" by not pulling the right permits.

So if I understand this right, you want to take the word of an overdosed tenant (or his paramedic calling brother who reported cocaine abuse) over your lease. 

You can insist every applicant wears pink shoes to the meeting. 

I have a pink bathroom in one house, and original old 60s cabinets in the kitchen, to which I added black and white NASA photos. 

You could put a big neon green/pink/red paper under the wiper with a note to call you.

Do you like blue, pink or green, i.e. what is your risk tolerance for having a bigger mortgage?

Shooting for regular grey is tough as your home can come out blue, purple, green, pink etc.

I had to spend an entire weekend to gut properties myself even after paying to have it done before I inspected to see that it wasn't done to my satisfaction, HVAC's going out left and right needing to be replaced, duplex flooded AGAIN when my demo crew did not put the shut off valves back on the supply lines under four bathroom vanities and someone turned the water back on to the house, learned that all four water heaters in my flooded fourplex are bad and need to be replaced, tenants complaining the repairs aren't moving fast enough, got scammed buying a washer and dryer from someone on Craigslist that didn't work and to top it off I got a pink slip from my job this week!
