You can only check on your taxes with the IRS if you know all the details of your return… some are easy enough… name, filing status, but then they also ask for the amount of tax due or maybe it’s your AGI… I forget.. but it’s nothing you will know if you don’t have a copy of your return.It’s total BS if they are going “Huh, I don’t know what’s going on.Here’s the frustrating part.

Another option would be to tell them you have to make decisions based on your investors best interests.Your investing partner could be your significant other, but they don't have to know that.That way if difficult decisions have to be made in the future the frustration would be at "the investor" and not directly at you.

they are good about responding to emails, but may take 6-24hrs and many times they don't answer the question fully so you have to go back & forth a couple of times which is frustrating when you have to wait long times for responses.
