Some of my main goals for 2022 are to continue to find likeminded partners, join a mastermind group, grow my property management business as we are managing all our rentals in-house, bring my brother to the business and start a GC business with him, give back to my church and the community in every single way I can and stay healthy for my family.I will close it out with this message to everyone sitting on the sidelines because of fear; I am also a father of two babies, my wife stays home, and I still have my Engineering Job.

Has any one ever bought a church or building and repurposed it as a rental? 

There's an active business LLC/s-corp with a self administered solo 401k (from Advanta) with 2 sub accounts (his/hers).There are no children as plan beneficiaries, just non profits, churches etc and the opposite spouse of course.The wish is that the business lives on and provides on going benefits to the beneficiary churches etc. 

We were prepared to evict a few months back when a local church stepped up and actually paid his back rent for Nov AND his next rent check for December to get him current.

My buying reasons were: Positives:Out of 59 lots, 36 lots had mobile homes ( from 1980’s) but only 18 were occupied.Area is within city limit, close to a gas station, dollar general, church, bus station.

I also feel called to service and so I’m involved with a local church. 

I am currently in the falls church Virginia.

With jobs, school, kids, church, and all the other obligations in our lives most people just don't have the available time, or they don't want to sacrifice their time.The investors that are advising you to take on the sweat equity generally have more time and they can trade that time for profits without sacrificing time with family, ect.
