Hey @Kambhampati Aswin I followed a similar path as you, first a DA and now originating mortgages and investing in real estate.

I’m looking to purchase my first multi family home in the city of Colombus and am looking for the hard numbers, metrics I should be on the lookout for, and sample properties to get my hands wet as far as what’s considered a good deal and area to invest in.

One of the strategies I am strongly considering for my first deal is a multifamily house hack.

I have been doing these type of loans for 30 plus years and buying foreclosures since the late 70s.. seen it time and again  ..

In time, we will see. again where you invest is importnant.

Then from there finding properties that fit your buy box, I would start off with a single family for your first investment to get your feet wet
