Around here there are mostly single family homes on small lots, some townhouses and some garden style apartments.

I never let the tenant be responsible for lawn and gardening.

Anyone know of any reasonable roofing companies in Miami Gardens area?

The plus side is no roof repairs, no pool /garden expenses. 

With my duplexes, the tenants take care of the yards but I've always provided mowers and garden hoses, sprinklers. 

Could you see it being a possibility in Crown Heights, Brooklyn Heights, Prospect Lefferts Gardens, or even somewhere like Ridgewood, Queens?

I live in Garden Grove and have property not only here in OC, but also in LA County, Visalia and Fresno, and out of state in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado and Tennessee.

I am currently living in a garden unit of a three-flat my parents own and pay $300 a month in rent and help out around the house.

The ones who have been shut down (and their management arrested) were those who, sadly, cram four elderly in a bedroom, paid "nursing" personnel $10 a hour to monitor them and, in one sad case, gave an elderly woman in a wheelchair her shower by rolling her out into the back yard and spraying her down with the garden hose.If I were to consider renting a property to be used as an assisted living facility I would only do so if their contract was with a VA Medical Center. 

It will be 155 units, garden style community in Franklinton, NC.
