I screw them to the wall so they are now attached and call it a bedroom.If you are renting the house, I always tell prospective tenants that complain about the closets that a lot of houses don't have closets, so a small closet is better than no closet.

(rebuilding interior walls, closets, shelving, kitchen counters, cabinets, lighting, fixtures, flooring, bathroom, etc).Note: plumbing, electrical, etc into the unit is all being covered by the building, so I only need the "walls-in" rebuild cost per sq ft.As far as quality, let's say "middle of the road"... so we're talking nicer than your typical "cheap rental property", but certainly not looking to do a high-end rebuild (no high-end finishes, etc).

GeorgeI suggest you check your closets, you left your sense of humor some where, I had to laugh thinking about a body still laying there for all these years as the reason it didn't sell.yet.and why it was still available.Now for my real response, Have you checked the property tax records, and is there really 10 years of unpaid taxes or is somebody paying them.
