Rehab/repairs consisted of all new floors, tile over basement concrete floor, all new stainless appliances, washer and dryer, full paint job, removing drop ceiling and replacing with drywall, shed demolition, fancy kitchen faucet, granite countertop and backsplash installation (kept cabinets), new bathroom vanity, new gfci and grounded outlets by licensed electrician.

I would try and "hard wire" each room with coax cable so there is an outlet in each room....then a "main" box on the outside of the house..... then all the installer has to do is attach their cable to the main box with a splitter and then run a cable from the room outlet to their box and TV etc. ....so the only "new" cable that would ever have to run when service is changed is from a new satellite to the main box.

This typically includes new kitchen, new bathrooms (but hopefully not the baths/showers), new flooring where needed (typically most flooring), removing the ceiling texture, new windows, décor outlets and switches, paint, typically some doors and handsets (both entry doors and/or closet doors) and there always seems to be something unexpected.

House hacking, at least as far as I understand, is what I'm doing with my multi family; living in one unit and renting the other three out, letting my tenants pay my mortgage, taxes, etc. and still leaving me with a few dollars in my pocket every month.
