From what I can see from the pictures it needs a kitchen, bath, addition of a powder room, paint, clearing of landscaping and a good scrubbing.

Dumping coffee grounds or grease down the drain, using powdered detergents (both laundry and dish) and flushing feminine hygiene products are killer on your septic system.  

I'll just keep my powder dry and work on my patience...LOL.

Try this:1) Dissolve 2 tbsp. of oxy-cleaning powder in 1 gallon of hot water, stirring until all of the powder has dispersed.2) Spread a liberal amount of cleaner onto the floor, working in a 3-foot strip and saturating the entire surface.3) Let the cleaner soak for fifteen minutes.

They also have mettallic powders in copper, grey, and other colors that you can mix directly into the epoxy.

But traveling nurses are tired after work and little inconveniences become big ones when you're tired.Even a powder room upstairs would be my ideal.

So be prepared and keep your powder dry during these uncertain times.

Maybe consider putting the stairs to that unit in the southwest corner with an odd shaped landing/switch back and pushing your powder room/laundry to the west and then shoving your kitchen against the north wall.
