Even stuff that was not aesthetically pleasing when she looked at the property but now wants it fixed?

It's sort of a "keep your enemies closer" thing...I have always worked to ensure that the HOA does not become one of those HOAs you read about in the paper...telling people that their house is the wrong shade of white or that their grass is a sixteenth of an inch too high.But, I do think HOAs serve some purpose with respect to maintaining aesthetics.

This takes an entirely different EYE, design aesthetic and contractors with more experience working with these finishes.

I did go with the upgraded model for my home compared to my rentals which is essentially an aesthetic upgrade. 

I tried farming out the tiling and just ended up with guys who could mastic something to the wall but couldn't understand how to make it aesthetically pleasing.

All aesthetics aside, IMO the issue is roots and likely storm damage.Trees a used to provide shade and in many areas are very effective in lowering cooling bills.

I understand wanting to create something of aesthetic value, but if she understands some materials might mean she is working for $5 an hour or less she may compromise.I worked on 2 projects with my late partner.

In addition, I fostered the idea to replace the street that was in very bad condition and built a fund so we could all pay into which everyone did with an estimated timeframe within five years.I found a contractor hungry for work who agreed to do the repave at a price (just happened to be the amount we had in the funded account) and had it replaced three years later.The repave added substantial aesthetic properties to the street and each property.

IE leave some aesthetics close to the home  replant the harvested area and put the property right back up on the market and sell it for basically what we paid for it...

In my city, Police officers, Fire fighters, Teachers, etc can buy a house for 50% off (first time home buyers), I think the reasoning behind it is, these people seem to bring neighborhoods up in aesthetics and value.
