The issue is that it can be more difficult to get a bank loan We found a very nice modular we were thinking of buying, but our realtor knew we only planned to stay in the home 3 years, so she advised against it.On the flip side (pun intended), if you're looking to buy for investment and can owner finance, you can get a steal on some modulars because they can be difficult to move.That said, things are always changing.
