If you have a tax deed, insurance is not a problem.Remember that in Alabama the former owner still has redemption rights, for up to 3 years after you take possession.

This is much more advantageous for the seller as they can use eviction to reclaim possession of the property rather than the more cumbersome foreclosure needed in an AITD situation.

I have the Judgement of Foreclosure and Sale from the case and it states the sheriffs office is to remove the people and their items from the property and to put myself, the successful bidder, in possession of the property without delay.
