If you have a tax deed, insurance is not a problem.Remember that in Alabama the former owner still has redemption rights, for up to 3 years after you take possession.

Now one of them told us that he has a misdemeanor in 2013 for drug possession.  

So on the 7th do I need to file eviction or can I just take possession of property since they have technically vacated??

I just took possession just under 2 weeks ago and boy I have learned a lot in that short amount of time (I actually am going to be starting a blog here shortly to share what I have learned so keep an eye out).  

Should I be worried about Adverse Possession or Tacking or Easement by Prescription, if I have several relatives who have deer / dove hunted in the back acreage for over 20 years?  

This is much more advantageous for the seller as they can use eviction to reclaim possession of the property rather than the more cumbersome foreclosure needed in an AITD situation.  

I have the Judgement of Foreclosure and Sale from the case and it states the sheriffs office is to remove the people and their items from the property and to put myself, the successful bidder, in possession of the property without delay.

Assuming your notice is proper, you should have little to no issues getting possession that way.
