One of my subs just replaced his AC condenser--just the unit, no line set, etc and it was $2650 as a "softball coach special" so it is pretty easy to guess you will be in the 3K range. 

Coaching probably speeds things up for many, but lets just say you spend $50,000 on coaching and all the coaches are in retrenchment mode right now and coach you to be pencils down.

This is hands down one of the best investments I've made in my own education (for contrast: my BS and doctorate cost me $250K, and for RE, apart from books, I recently spent $18K on a syndication coach and $5K on multifamily strategy with Christian & Cody) -- and her course was a fraction of these costs at only $2.5K (Soli: you should up your prices, you are worth it)!

I'm not sure which videos you are watching or what companies they are, but you're right in that it sounds like they're getting you interested to buy their "coaching" program....and $5000-$10,000 sounds cheap.
