First Tweakers "guests"
I manage a hand full of STRs here in Central Oregon had some tweakers come through and do about 10k-20k in damages probably. Bled all over linens, let kids rub slime into carpets, stabbed coach with a knife. It was one of the saddest things I have seen. Anyway putting together a list of damage to file a claim if you have any advice please let me know. Thx

First Goal: Get it in rentable condition ASAP. You're losing money every day (which you can go after the tenants for).
AirBNB supposedly covers damage to rental units. Your best bet is to start here. They most assuredly are going to want a police report for this level of damage. Take tons of pics and details of everything damaged. I'd suggest not noting things like "stabbed coach with a knife" and instead "7" long cut in left cushion of couch" and "4 sq ft area of carpet under den window coated in an unknown substance that stained the carpet".
I suspect that if AirBNB covers anything, they're going to do it at a depreciated level. Same as any court judgment against the tenants.
Oregon Small Claims Court is limited to $10K. Above that and you're going to Superior Court (or whatever Oregon calls their version). You most likely can represent yourself.
