Yeah, it's tough to believe anything he says.

Is it in an area where assets have been or you believe will have appreciation? 

The ARV was believed to be around $235k so my agent told me to try to stay all in around $176K.

I believed there had to be another way.That’s when I had an aha moment.

If you believe your property’s assessed value is too high, you have the right to challenge it.

I feel like in today’s day in age there are so many tools for STR operations and I cannot believe there is no integration for a merchant of sale transaction or some kind of financial app/ software that can take the remitted taxes and pay them to the government automatically.

If I am all in on the property for 360k (purchase and some finishing construction as well as carry costs) and the home is valued at 450k or more (based on what im told by agents as well as my own analysis while staying conservative), that is 20%+ equity I believe, unless I am missing something.

I have never been shy of facing challenges and I truly believe knowledge is power (something my grandfather taught me at a young age)I really want to learn everything there is to learn about realestate and am driven and hungry.Thanks in advance for any suggestions or recommendations.
