We have clients as far as Singapore focused on the metro because they know it will be a good long term investment for them.

While a country like Singapore has done pretty well for itself, Thailand hasn't been living up to this potential, partly because of corruption and political instability.

Basically, what this tells me is that, while the income/price ratios in places like Sydney, San Fran, NYC are high - they are far from that of Tokyo, Paris and Singapore etc.

You can consider what I'm doing "extreme" remote investing - I live in Singapore!

To complicate matters, I leave for Singapore next week until August 1. 60 days from that date would mean I have to serve notice to her June 1. 

I have gained enough points to fly first class anywhere in the world for free  ( last year was Singapore an Thailand) ( 14k was what it would have cost for 2 tickets round trip)   and get free hotel for 10 to 15 days.. ( 2 years ago 10 days at the Hilton Waikaloa all for FREE.. simply by being loyal to the brand.I think that is the business man perspective..Not sure how many other road warriors like myself are on BP.. but I fly right at 60 to 70k miles a year and that does not include my private aviation up and down the west coast.So for me personally to save a few bucks and get no perks doing an air Bnb or vrbo in a BUSINESS setting just has zero appeal..I am sure I am in the VAST minority here..And if you have your company paying for it.. they will put you were they are going to put you.

If someone was to pay me by the year in Singapore where I am at now, I would only be too happy.
