If you are truly interested in SoCal, I would definitely reach out to a few of the members down there and see if you can start trying to attend the meet ups when you can.For reading, try to get a grasp of how 2-4 unit bank financing works (it is pretty straight forward) but you will then be empowered to understand what will be required from you.
