My biggest concerns right now is finding a decent property manager (I hate to give anyone control, but I have a full time job), finding an on call good handyman, and talking with investors about other positive ways to finance the deal other than a conventional loan.Indiana, Florida, Ohio, Lake homes, and most tourist destinations are all interest to us!

I'd say so long as you're in a good location I don't foresee this trend changing all that much b/c these cities are also destinations for things like work events (i.e. traveling nurses, traveling professors), tourists and industry events (i.e. conferences and trade shows).

No. 1  destination for digitial nomads, houses are purchased in USD, super low costs of living,  very safe country, open to foreign investors, high degree of digitalization and you get super deals there at the moment.
