Finis or sitex will have a reasonable footprint however not, IMHO , worth switching to.

I doubt it would fit the "if I started over" title, but I'd be happy to write on environmental and property condition due diligence.

Corelogic (First American) has the largest footprint and Fidelity a distant second for the Pre-Foreclosure list and the mortgage lates are becoming more difficult to obtain due to a rash of litigation for supplying the list.

There may also be a liability for environmental issues if one is in the chain of title, but I would like to believe environmental issues are lesser with residential properties.

I know this may not seem like a ton of space, but our lot is extremely deep as the main home doesn’t occupy a large footprint.

In our case, most of the houses on the street were built with the same footprint (and the same roof pitch), and already had finished attics, so we were pretty confident this wouldn't be a problem.

Since it is "AS IS", am I required to give the buyer time for inspections, including physical and environmental, documentation of the property and title?

Including the framing of a master suite and bathroom in the existing footprint of the house.

I have never dealt with any, however; have heard others that have and it seems the biggest concern these days is what environmental liability there is or could be.
