I live in a cold climate and my tenants where I was paying the heat were setting their thermostats at 78 degrees and leaving their windows open when it was 10 degrees outside and wearing shorts and tshirts and going barefoot.

In the past, 6 months was no problem but doesn't seem to be the case currently.We had the opportunity to snag a pretty good investment property but were scared off by the financial climate/bank lening uncertainty and in retrospect, have some regrets.
