Most shifting or settling has more to do with soil than it does with the design.Are there plans available and do 'as builts' match plans for the place?

I'd hate to soil my reputation before I even start so I've slowed down on my aggressiveness with this until I figure this outCurious to see replies

@Chase McEntee  and If your buy and hold in Texas you have to be that much more diligent as Texas property tax's have taken down the best of intended investors along with soil issues in many parts of the state.. you can pretty much count on foundation fix's during the life of your ownership that will wipe out one to 3 years of cash flow just with that event

That and supporting it from underneath should hopefully fix the problem and level the floors.That wasn't the answer I really wanted as it will increase the budget but it's not a huge problem either.

I have a seller that wants to sell, but the lot they had evaluated, in 2007, (it's 2 lots side by side), the health dept said the soil is unsuitable for a septic system.
