When I PCS'd to Florida I decided not to buy, have been renting cheap, and have been stashing away extra cash.

I am finally debt free and have a small savings stash where I feel confident to take on a little risk to find my happiness outside of my home.

Hey everyone,Looking for a place to stash my cash in between now and when I can purchase my next investment.

So I am still at the save and learn stage...books, podcasts, even occasionally do some side work with a local investor to get some hands on experience, while trying to trim fat and stash money.

Seeking for advice on how much money I should have stashed to spend on fixing the house and also for emergency funds.Once i get the house, I would like to live there for 2-3 months fixing the property and going from work from there.Once i get a tenant, move back in with my father, refinance the home and find another one and repeat..Yes I know I am young but I've really taken the time and held off on not staying on a college campus or making stupid young purchases. 

I believe the optimal time to sell was this past summer but it is still a great time to get out and stash the cash away for the next downturn whether it be 3 months or 2 years.

I would think you would have to run across someone who has a very large stash of cash since most loan companies wouldn't give a loan on a group of such low priced properties.

I have been self employed 40 years , its great ........BUT you have to have a large cash stash to cover any and all contingencies . 

I'd rather do that than try and save up $20K only being able to stash away $100 / mo.If you want to see the numbers that I've run, you can tell me if you think it's a good deal, and how to go about snagging it (since I'm pretty green, I need some direction and a little push).
