There are many issues where you may think you have to be proven guilty of a crime, this is one area where you can simply be accused of a crime, the act or attempt itself is a crime, and you'll be defending against the accusation that you attempted to do something, you'll likely lose.I have no idea how many people thought they could pull one over on a bank and ended up in prison, but I know there are such people in prison.

Good points, @Matt Mason - but much of what you said could be turned up-side-down in favor of rents increasing, not home prices, and i wonder why they don't - like availability of world-calass schools generally driving rents up from student-renters, and actors, musicians, artists and wanna-be-anything all rentersBut i'll start a new thread...

Our local military population is mostly National Guard, but last month I took the kids to an event put on by the FRG that was co-sponsored by a mortgage company that handed out goodie bags (coloring pages, candy, logo pens and travel mugs) to all the parents and kids with a flyer and business card explaining VA loans, eligibility, costs, etc.
