Financing, regulation and taxation are handled a little differently here in Canada, but there is an active cadre of Canadians roaming these virtual halls (some of us, Maritimers) who can field any Canada specific questions you may have.

@Andrew McBurney Wholesaling doesn't easily work north of the border due to Canadian (federal and provincial) laws.

I just fired my contractor due to lack of permits, unfinished work, and broken promises in Royal Oak, MI on a house that I'm flipping.

To keep it short, I think the best way for me to start would be to hook up with some local Canadians with experience, and preferably in the Hamilton, Ontario area.
