I learned from the experience--to trust my gut when screening tenants (my agent insisted he would be a good tenant, despite my gut telling me he would be difficult); and to vet contractors by seeing how they dealt with me during the first meeting (if they kept trying to look for "the man," I cross their name of the list, and move on to the next contractor).

If they really insist on it, then just deal with it or tell them to deliver it to you by hand.

At that juncture, the seller took the opportunity to insist in a change of terms that were to his favor, not ours.

Isaac,I live a little out side of Bend in Sisters.  

They cannot dictate where you lay your head at night but they will insist on copies of your bills to prove that you are not renting it out. 

I see a lot of advice on these forums insisting on the LLC being the primary named insured.

She insisted on having our home, a duplex house hack I forced on her totally paid off with no mortgage.

I'd like to understand more about this because the tenant is insisting on doing that. 

My HOA, property manager, and the owner of the property below mine insisted the damage was my responsibility.
