My background is in biomedical sciences, but my passion is in business and connecting with people of all sorts of backgrounds.

I've always been fascinated with RE and used to be in the home staging business back in the good old days but that business died. 

It may not make sense as a flip, but the numbers work out for me because:it's close to work (DTLA)the neighborhood is very safeIt's easy to rent out rooms (close to Cal State LA, USC health science campus & DTLA)I'm only putting down 5% and the monthly expenses will be very lowIf it appreciates, that'll just be an added bonus.

Great for science, not so great for art. 

It's just so fascinating how many people want to feel justified in not taking a risk.  

It does sometimes feel like more of an art than a science. 

As fun as wholesales and rehabs can be, nothing is more fun and fascinating to me than putting together a deal for a large purchase.

I recently graduated with a bachelors degree in computer science and mathematics in May.

I was fascinated at their total lack of bedside manners or gratitude for my cooperation (as a former owner). 

Frankly, I have seen a lot of people achieve their goals via their immersion in the BiggerPockets' trove of information and guidance, so you can do likewise.I always tell people REI is NOT rocket science, we all can do this well!
