So, to the chagrin of some developers it can get a little expensive at times but on the flip side of that coin it provides kind of a firewall so that what ever is being built is being built with a strong intention.

The biggest problem I see is that most of those items should have been itemized from the tenant deposit.

Buying a large new build home can also work well as a house hack as you can charge a premium rent, and generally most bedrooms built now a days have en suites (at least in my market).
