Now that people are starting to socialize again and this city is opening back up soon, I would imagine that many renters and visitors will be coming back to SF in the next year or two.

--reach out and thank them upon getting the booking and ask if they have any questions--send a "Welcome" email or automated message during the week prior to arrival--reach out the day after arrival to ask how everything was the first night and ask if there is anything that the property needs--reach out at the end of the stay (that morning or within 24 hours) and ask how everything was, anything to improve, anything to add to the house and then offer an incentive for returning guests.My 2 cents,Mike Absolutely stay in your place as Mike said.You will see things the cleaners will never let you know about.We stayed in our PF will putting up the Christmas decorations and found a cracked plastic shelf in the fridge. 

That in itself is a skill and a needed over head component to keep from having investors get very antsy and then take to SM because they are not getting their e mails returned that day or next .. 

- We've got an owner we're about ready to terminate because we email them information that they refuses to read and always wants us to call them and spend hours talking about it.

That means there are sometimes you have to get people off the list who are not opening your emails, or buying anymore, and add people who were buying years ago stopped, and now are back in.

Just a suggestion for after you call or go in person - send the person a follow up email with a recap of what they told you.

I'd love it if the emails could be taken into Baselane, and automatically update the invoices. 

It is what it is there now and I can imagine this being the same in other areas, too).  

I will say it was disclosed to us in a fine print email, but it was definitely not clearly told to us and many people are migrating away because we have our direct sites listed as fee free and they no longer would be.I did extensive research last year when signing up and Hostfully was my runner up and that’s why I am switching to them.

(Imagine the entire value of your property being just the 20-25% downpayment on a 4-5x larger property and the resulting depreciation.)
