A free-market democratic solution is someone developing a certification standard, and membership, by which investors can come to rely upon as a hallmark of quality in an agent and can simply look up in an open database of those accredited agents, and an accreditation agency that polices a standard to keep quality what need be.

That would be a great step towards a more democratized use of digital signatures.Ideally, if State would issue ID or Drivers' License with an embedded chip, it could be used as an electronic token also.
