Now, you can get them to update their numbers and change the appraisal, and often they will bend a bit with an offer from the bank to make it work.Appraising is not an exact science.And, yes, in some markets prices are over appraisals.

@Forrest Faulconer The logic you present for low housing inventory being fault of Boomers.... well first off it's just so mind-bendingly bonkers insane.... but playing into it that same twisted logic can ALSO justify it is the fault of Millennials, because if millennials would just keep renting and stop buying homes everything would be just fine for the rest of us. 

The lining equipment has limitations to the bend angle.

If you were buying a property in South Bend, presumably it could be subject to this, so might this be a contingency in a purchase contract to make sure it was already going to pass (or some concession was made to offset the cost of remediation)?
