Cast Iron Plumbing Question
Hi all! If I have 12 feet of cast iron plumbing, would you replace it or line it? What are the disadvantages of lining it? Plumber seems to keep pushing the lining of the pipe as it's cost effective and last 50+ years, however, he has to dig a trench to do so. If he does that, shouldn't he just replace it?

Guessing he doesn't want to pick up a really heavy pipe, load it into his truck, haul it to the dump, etc. If I only had 12' of pipe, I'd be replacing it personally.
