I feel in today's world, battling the "embarrassment" of being bad at something holds a SIGNIFICANT amount of people on the sidelines.

The place smells bad and there is barely any space to walk.

Ones method is to get to wealth via a slow simmer, living frugally, and coming out on the other end smelling like a rose when you’re retired (and maybe too old to enjoy it).

I can't say I've kept up with things the last few years, but I sadly found I was fighting a losing battle and ended up caving and giving up my license.
