I don't know if there's a *1* most important thing I've learned over the past year but there are some things that have either been introduced, reinforced or rediscovered:1.

Glad you rediscovered your passion for the wonderful wor of REI; you are certainly in a great location for it.  

And again, since I lean away from condos and town houses myself I don't do too much in this area, it's entirely possible it's more popular than I think and I just haven't run across it a lot in my own travels.In regards to condo appreciation my personal opinion is that when the market turns down they fall a bit lower than multis and take longer to catch up, but then toward a market top when multis get too expensive, condos really "pop" for a little bit as people find they're a more affordable option and "rediscover" them.I think that's less true of town houses since they're detached and "look" more like single families (though the ones that share a wall are more obviously condos).

Looks like I actually joined the site 3 years ago, but just rediscovered it and have been diving into the podasts. 

I rediscovered Realestate doubling down on what I learned through life and sorting out my network surprising how many people you can just accumulate on the hamster wheel of life that want you running along with them; then others who are really rockstars and looking forward  to you stepping off the wheel and happy you did.

It's like for every new thing, I feel like I've rediscovered just how naive and uneducated I really am.

Sometimes, it is so powerful, I get sick to my stomach, and I rediscover just how uneducated and naive I really am.

I didn't do much until I "rediscovered" this site recently.

The area is being rediscovered and I believe this will underpin values (if not rental demand).

My passion for real estate has been rediscovered.
