The other way to "fix" it is to fill the hole with epoxy and reassemble the broken bits like a puzzle to try to disguise the damage as much as possible.

Aerators, when clogged (the only reason I can think of to remove them), simply disassemble them, clean the screen (or just remove it), reassemble and reinstall. 5 minutes each, tops.Why did the AC outlet need to be turned 180?

I've used the lifeproof stuff from Home Depot but find that it scratches pretty easy and really only goes together once...if you have to take it apart for damage or water, it doesn't reassemble very well.

Yeah you can probably find the part at a wholesale AC supply and change it yourself but at what price.This is based on my experiences with several AC repairs I did myself.1. 30 mins to 1 hr researching ( self diagnosing) the part online, calling to find who has it in stock2. 1 hr round trip to buy the part3. 1 hr of sweating in the sun or baking in the attic while disassembling the unit.4. 30 mins to install and test the system. ( hopefully I was correct with he diagnosis from step 1or else we start all over)5. 30 more minutes of sweating and baking to reassemble everything.So if the part was $60 and an AC company charges $140 I saved $80.

Fortunately it was pretty easy to unplug the little approx 2"x2" controller board and disassemble the unit and rotate the axle 180° and reassemble it perfectly and it works!

By putting in a shower, rather than a bath tub, we can take some of the space the tub occupied and make a small walk in closet, making the 'master suite' actually really nice (for the neighborhood).We have completed the demolition/tear out and have started reassembling a few bits and pieces of the house.
