Got my RE agent licence in 2010 and quickly realized that I much preferred property/deal analysis to marketing myself and sales.

Question 1: Do you need a licence ?

If you don't know anything about real estate than getting your licence isn't a bad idea but one has nothing to do with the other. 

So, it seems real estate licence seems good enough to do estimate. 

My partner has no interest in obtaining a real estate licence.  

My son decided to come be a real estate investor and the first thing we had him do was to get a real estate licence and here's why.1.  

Getting Dick and Jane to sell you their house privately, let alone let you tie it up to try and sell it at a mark-up, can be quite a challenge here.In most jurisdictions in the country if you are not taking possession of the property (i.e. owning it), you would be brokering without a licence which can get you into trouble.

A 7 day liquor licence will be included but he wants to sell it separately to the buyer.

Hi Everyone,I have passed CT real estate exam couple of months ago and looking for a broker to hang my licences with.I know this might not be a new topic in the forum, my situation is a little unique.I have a full time job which I intend to keep for the time being.

I believe the real learning will begin once you receive your licence and jump in.
